Join the climate scientists who are keeping tabs on how greenhouse gases affect our climate! Discover the science of climate change through performance, activities and exhibits, or take on the role of ‘mission scientist' on a research flight over the Arctic.

24 international students just completed our 1-week summer school on greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, the oceans and the terrestrial biosphere (16-23 Aug. 2015, Edinburgh).

International Summer School on Global Greenhouse Gases
16-23 August 2015, Edinburgh, UK

This intensive 8-day course is aimed at advanced PhD students and post-doctoral researchers in the natural sciences who want to develop a solid understanding of the role of key greenhouse gases (GHGs) in the Earth system and the processes that govern their dynamics in the atmosphere, ocean and biosphere.

Applications are invited for a post-doc research post to work on measuring forest GHG balances, one of Forest Research's research programmes for the Forestry Commission, contributing to the GREENHOUSE project. The closing date is 28th November.

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia (UEA). The position will contribute to the RAGNARoCC project, the marine component of NERC’s Programme on Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Feedbacks. The closing date is 12 November.
