On Wed., 4 Nov. 2015, the projects in the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions and Feedback Programme organise an outward-facing joint meeting in Edinburgh. It is free and open to every researcher interested in greenhouse gases and not restricted to project members.

The Greenhouse Gases Emissions and Feedback Programme is organising Joint GHG Meeting in Edinburgh on Monday to Wednesday, 2-4 November 2015, in Edinburgh. It combines the annual internal project meetings with an open inclusive session (on 4 Nov) to connect with the wider community, researchers and stakeholders who are interested in greenhouse gas (GHG) research.

GREENHOUSE Impacts on Schools

To raise awareness of climate change, GREENHOUSE researchers, in the School of GeoSciences, engaged secondary school students in analysing recent research data from Eddy flux co-variance towers in Dumfries. The venue for this recent workshop was in the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation (ECCI). Its impact was very positive with excellent feedback from the students. Further proposals to extend this approach are planned.

24 students at the International Summer School on Global Greenhouse Gases

24 international students just completed our 1-week summer school on greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, the oceans and the terrestrial biosphere (16-23 Aug. 2015, Edinburgh).
